Exceptions can occur with spaces which have a curved or irregular shape, as these spaces typically require extra material to perfectly fit.

We recommend adding 5% material to your order to account for irregularities in the shape of your space shape, paver cuts, and calculation errors.

PaveSafe rubber pavers are user-friendly to install in both residential and commercial settings. Depending on the application, they can be installed with adhesive or as a loose lay system (only the 1-3/4” interlocking pavers may be loose laid, and only when bordered). This product is designed for straightforward installation and can be trimmed on-site as needed.

Before installation, ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, level, and structurally sound. Acceptable subfloors include fully cured concrete, asphalt, and APA-rated plywood for adhered installs, or compacted crushed stone for loose lay. Avoid installing over OSB, particle board, or similar materials. All pavers must acclimate for at least 48 hours prior to install at the ambient room or site temperature.

Start installation at the intersection of two perpendicular chalk lines in the center of the space, working outward to ensure balanced placement. For adhered installs, apply Ecore’s E-Grip III adhesive using a 1/8" square-notch trowel and press each paver firmly into the wet adhesive. Do not spread more adhesive than can be covered in 30 minutes. Use a jigsaw or bandsaw with a coarse blade to trim tiles as needed to fit around walls, curbs, or obstacles.

For loose lay installations, sweep the area clean, install the perimeter border, and follow the same layout method. Press interlocking pavers tightly together and cut where necessary. Once all pavers are placed, walking the surface helps ensure a flat, secure fit.

Most installations can be completed in a few hours by two people. We recommend buying approximately 3.42 pavers per square foot of area to ensure enough pavers to cover your space.
