Flooring FAQ

1️⃣ How much flooring do I need?

To calculate how many tiles you need, click the blue 'Quantity Calculator' button at the top of this page.

The calculator will provide the number of tiles needed to cover any space based on its square footage. One tile will cover approximately 3.67 square feet of space.

We recommend adding an extra 5% of material to your order to account for irregularities in the shape of your space, mistakes when cutting tiles, etc.

2️⃣ How is this floor installed?

Interlocking rubber tiles are incredibly user-friendly to install in a residential or commercial setting. The product is designed for easy installation without the need for adhesive, making it a "floating" system that can be moved from one location to another with ease.

Before beginning, the subfloor should be clean, dry, and level, and the tiles should be given 24 hours to acclimate to room temperature. Installation starts in a corner, working outward, with each tile’s interlocking edges pressed firmly together. A rubber mallet may be used to ensure a secure fit.

The tiles should be laid in rows, with the option to stagger them for added stability. If necessary, a utility knife and straightedge can be used to trim tiles to fit against walls or around obstacles. We recommend purchasing roughly 5% more tiles than needed to accommodate for miscalculations with cuts and/or measurements.

Once installation is complete, walking over the surface helps ensure all tiles are properly interlocked and lay flat. Most installations can be completed by two people in under an hour.

3️⃣ Is there a warranty included?

These ECORE Athletic tiles come standard with a 5-year commercial warranty.

4️⃣ How do these tiles ship?

Orders of 100 lbs. or less will ship in a cardboard box. Orders over 100 lbs. are too heavy for cardboard, so these will need to be strapped to a wooden pallet which ship on a truck with a lift gate.

Most ECORE rolls and tiles are made-to-order and require they get produced as orders are placed. Typical production lead time is 4 weeks for rolls and tiles. The transit time upon shipment is typically 1 additional week.

Therefore, most ECORE orders will deliver within 5-6 weeks of the order being placed, baring any unforeseen delays.

If you need a floor sooner than this, please give us a call. We can often work something out when you're in a bind and need something sooner, as ECORE occasionally stocks certain colors of certain products for this exact reason.

5️⃣ What is the return policy?

Blue Sky Fitness Supply requests that customers who wish to return purchased goods for any reason after receiving a delivery contact us within 30 days of placing the order to request a return. Return requests made outside of 30 days may not be approved.
