ECORE Performance Rally is a 14.5mm dual-durometer rubber floor designed for aggressive functional training, strength and conditioning, free weight areas, and commercial gym environments.

Performance Rally pairs a 2.5mm vulcanized composition rubber (VCR) surface layer with a 12mm shock-absorbing VCR base layer, bonded together using Ecore's patented itsTRU® fusion technology. This dual-durometer construction absorbs 35.4% of impact force while returning 53.7% of useful energy back to the athlete — a combination Ecore calls the "NRG Factor."

Rally is built for spaces where heavy weights hit the floor regularly. It's a go-to surface for functional training zones, rack and deadlift stations, selectorized strength areas, cardio zones, and indoor tracks. It also works well in physical therapy clinics, school gyms, corporate fitness rooms, and even non-gym spaces like hallways and entryways. Major installations include the University of Nebraska, Arizona State University, USC Village Fitness Center, and multiple Crunch Fitness locations.

It's available in rolls (48" wide, 25 or 50 linear feet) and 23" x 23" interlocking tiles, with 24 color options ranging from neutrals like Medium Gray and Charcoal to bolder choices like Navy, Maroon, and Red — plus newer options like Rustic Edge and Forged Steel.

Performance Beast Plus (14.5mm) shares Rally's thickness but is engineered differently — it's denser and harder, with 17.4% force reduction and 66.3% energy restitution. itsTRU® is Ecore's patented process that fusion-bonds a vulcanized composition rubber surface layer to a VCR base layer, creating a dual-durometer system where two different rubber densities work together for durability, shock absorption, and energy return.

Most rubber gym floors are a single uniform layer of material. Ecore's itsTRU® technology takes a different approach by permanently fusing two distinct layers of vulcanized composition rubber (VCR) at different densities into one product.

In Performance Rally, the top layer is a 2.5mm VCR surface engineered for durability, scuff resistance, and slip resistance in both wet and dry conditions. The 12mm base layer beneath it is a softer, shock-absorbing VCR designed to reduce impact force and return energy to the athlete. The fusion bond between the two layers ensures they won't delaminate over time, even under heavy use.

This dual-durometer system is what allows Rally to achieve its 35.4% force reduction and 53.7% energy restitution simultaneously — the surface stays firm and durable while the base absorbs impact and reduces fatigue. It also contributes to Rally's acoustic performance, earning an STC rating of 54 and an IIC rating of 59, which means it significantly reduces both in-room and transmitted noise.

Performance Rally is low-maintenance — regular cleaning requires only damp mopping with a microfiber mop or auto-scrubber using a neutral pH cleaner like Ecore's E-Cleaner.

Rally's vulcanized composition rubber surface resists scuffing and marking, which keeps day-to-day maintenance simple. For routine cleaning, damp mop with a microfiber mop or use an auto-scrubber with an approved pad or soft nylon brush. Ecore recommends their E-Cleaner or any neutral pH cleaning solution. Avoid flooding the floor with excess water.

For deeper cleaning, dilute E-Cleaner at 10 oz per gallon of water and scrub the surface. If you need to strip and restore the floor, use Ecore's E-Strip at 16 oz per gallon of water. After any deep cleaning treatment, allow 6–8 hours of drying time before resuming use. Avoid using cleaning products not recommended by Ecore, as these can damage the surface and void the warranty.

Performance Rally is backed by a 10-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for the original purchaser.

Ecore warrants Performance Rally against defects in material and workmanship for 10 years from the date of purchase. If a defect is found, Ecore will repair, replace, or issue credit at their discretion. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable.

The warranty does not cover issues caused by improper installation, improper maintenance, or general misuse. Specific exclusions include burns, cuts, tears, scratches, scuffs, rolling load damage, damage from non-recommended cleaners, shade variations between samples and installed product, and color changes from direct sunlight exposure. Proper installation using Ecore-approved adhesives (for rolls) and following their subfloor preparation guidelines is essential to keeping the warranty valid.

The base layer is manufactured primarily from post-consumer recycled truck tires, giving the product an 83% recycled rubber content — well above Ecore's company-wide average of 62%. Ecore diverts over 430 million pounds of rubber from landfills each year, and their York, PA facility has achieved a 100% landfill diversion rate.

On the air quality side, Rally is FloorScore certified and compliant with California's CDPH Section 01350 standards, meaning it meets strict limits for VOC emissions. This matters especially in enclosed gym spaces where air quality is a concern. The product also has published Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and Health Product Declarations (HPDs), and it contributes to multiple LEED v4 credit categories including recycled content and low emissions.

At end of life, Rally can be returned to Ecore through their TRUcircularity™ program to be fully recycled into new products.
