The PRO AXLE shares its locking design with the standard PRO collar: press the lever down to engage the spring-loaded snap latch, flip it to release. The frame geometry is adjusted for the 1.9" bar rather than the 2" Olympic sleeve, so the same fast one-handed operation applies.
