Both collars use the same spring-loaded snap latch and elastomer-pad resin frame, but the Magnets version steps up the lever geometry and spring tension for meaningfully more holding force — Lock-Jaw rates it at over 50% more clamping force than the standard PRO. The added magnets on both sides let you park the collars directly on a steel rack or rig upright between sets instead of setting them on the floor.

Yes — the magnets are strong enough to hold the collar's own weight against a steel rack upright or rig frame, keeping it off the floor between sets.

Each PRO w/ Magnets collar has a magnet embedded on both flat faces, so it sticks to any steel surface — a squat rack upright, a rig crossbar, or a weight tree — regardless of which side faces the rack. This is a convenience feature for keeping collars organized in a busy gym, not a structural part of the locking mechanism itself, which is entirely handled by the lever latch.

A durable resin frame with elastomer pads, same as the standard PRO, plus the embedded magnets — made in the USA.

The frame and contact-pad construction matches the standard PRO collar: a resin body with elastomer pads that grip the bar sleeve without scratching the finish. The magnets are embedded into the resin body during manufacturing, so they don't add a separate attachment point that could work loose. Unit weight is 1.1 lbs per collar, same as the standard PRO.

Fits standard 2" Olympic barbell sleeves. Sold as a pair, in 4 color options.

Like the standard PRO, this collar is sized for the 2" (50mm) Olympic sleeve — not adjustable for 1" or 1.9" bars. One order includes a pair (2 collars), enough to equip one barbell for both ends.
